1979 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER FJ40

This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case and finished in red over a gray interior. Equipment includes a removable hardtop with a fiberglass roof, an Aisin PTO winch, power steering, rear jump seats, a receiver hitch, front tow hooks, dual side mirrors, and a heater. The truck was delivered new in Colombia and reportedly received a frame-off refurbishment circa 2013. This FJ40 came from Colombia in early 2020 and subsequently imported it to the United States. Service in the summer of 2021 included rebuilding the brake master cylinder and installing Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Sport shock absorbers. The FJ40 is said to have been refinished in Freeborn Red (309) with a white roof and features a removable hardtop and doors, a refurbished front Aisin PTO winch, a receiver hitch, dual side mirrors, ambulance-style rear doors, and a rear-mounted spare. The seals for the doors, windows, and body have been replaced. Chipped paint has been touched up on the body and rear door hinges, and the left running-light lens is cracked.
